Now, you are admitting to yourself that things are not getting better. About Laura Garcia LMFT Your Therapist in Modesto
I’m Laura Garcia (my pronouns are she| her|ella), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #120261. I graduated with a Masters of Science in Counseling from California State University Stanislaus.
I am also a Certified Grief Therapist who completed a certificate program designed by world-renowned grief expert David Kessler. I am committed to providing grief support and insight into the often unacknowledged terrain of grief. The grief of all kinds, the physical loss of a loved one (Person| Pet), and life transitions. I have enjoyed working with individuals, children, teens, families, and couples and facilitating support groups.
I enjoy doing my own things to create healing and personal growth. For example being outdoors and taking nature in as one of my favorite things to do, reading, listening to podcasts, yoga, somatic work, spending time with loved ones, and spending time on my own.

THERAPY IN MODESTO ABOUT MY PRACTICE
My practice is in the Central Valley, specifically in Modesto, where adults can receive in-person services. Online therapy services are provided for those throughout California.
Throughout my years in the mental health field, I began to recognize the great need for a space to explore the complexities of life, from the immense pain humans can experience to ongoing chronic or daily stressors to the roller coaster of emotions and thoughts that happen during life transitions. Furthermore, an opportunity to increase accessibility for Spanish-speaking individuals. To increase access in receiving support in a language that best suits the person.
In whatever space you find yourself in life, may you continue to seek to liberate and embrace your authentic self. Therapy can be a resource to begin or continue your journey to liberating yourself from within and in your world. It can aid the process of breaking cycles and patterns, break away. Together we can create the opportunities to continue to seek liberation. There is a need for a safe space to hold hope, liberation, and freedom to unpack and sort through it all. A space to regain or meet a sense of yourself that has perhaps been lost.
